I took my most-used spices and alphabetized them in magnetic containers. They did sit on a magnetic board on my counter, but I saw a suggestion on Pinterest to put them on the side of the refrigerator. They are hardly noticeable but handy and ready when I need them!
How this simplifies my life: my main spices are easily accessible, cabinet and counter space freed up, and they are away from the stove (I've heard heat, etc. from cooking can make your spices go bad faster).
